Advertisements
Advertisements not only communicate Komax’s offerings but also increase brand awareness. Therefore, it is important to always consider the following elements in an advertisement.
Basic elements
- Picture shapeProducts depicted in advertisements are always shown in their factory environment.
- Text shapeThis shape with multiply effect overlaps with the picture shape and is placed on the right-hand side of the ad.
- HeadlineThe main terms are set larger than the rest of the message.
- Product nameHelvetica Neue Bold; set the product name in upper case, the addition in lower case.
- Body textA short introduction to the product is inserted in the white area underneath the rhomboid shapes.
- Logo with URLThe logo is placed in the bottom right-hand corner. The URL used with the logo serves as an address reference in ads.
Logo size
- LogoThe width of the logo equals 1/7 of the overall width of the advertisement.
Logo position
- Outer margins1/3 of the width of the logo defines the outer margins around the ad.
- URLThe URL runs the width of the first four letters of the logo and is set in Helvetica Neue Bold, Komax dark gray. Space it away from the bottom edge of the flat characters, equal to the height of the ‘x’ within the URL.
Specifications
- HeadlineHelvetica neue Bold; upper case. Use two font sizes: The main terms of the heading are equal in size to the product name, the small letters are half the size of the large characters.
- Product nameHelvetica Neue Bold; set the product name in upper case, the addition in lower case.
- Body textHelvetica Neue Light, between 7/10 pt and 8.5/13 pt depending on the size of the ad. The text runs parallel to the edge of the picture shape.
