Even in standard processes, the software ensures maximum efficiency by requiring only truly necessary verifications and quality controls. If the same material is used in a follow-up job, the verification does not need to be repeated unless the customer requests it.  

Standard processes are freely expandable

Additional steps are often necessary for challenging products or particularly quality-conscious customers. These steps might include preparing samples for supplementary quality tests at specified times, taking additional measurements or performing visual analyses under a microscope. Komax HMI allows optimal customization for these tasks because additional steps can easily be added to the process. This means, for example, that the operator can only start production or complete the job after he has carried out certain steps. 

Even if failure to complete a step might have only negligible effects, the consequences are nevertheless serious: it means that the end customer’s quality specifications have not been met. And if corrections are necessary, these involve time-consuming actions and unnecessary costs due to increased rejects.
