Success for the first Komax Digital Experience Days 

It was very encouraging to see the high level of international participation from October 20 to 30, 2020. There was also intensive participation in the live chats, Q&A, and surveys in the forum. There was a huge amount of interest in the topics and the exchanges with the participants were valuable. Thank you all very much!

High-tech wire processing for the mega-trend of connectivity 

“Intuitive, automated, connected, and self-adjusting – these are the four pillars of the Smart Factory by Komax.” Komax CEO Matijas Meyer opened the Digital Experience Days with this statement. Subsequently, he focused on corporate strategy in terms of technology trends and networked, data-driven production. At the same time, he highlighted the digital solutions and services already available to modern companies to increase their productivity and support their specialists.

Once again, Matijas Meyer proved how close he is to the market. In the blink of an eye, he converted a Komax machine (Gamma 450) and started a new production order using the Komax HMI interface. He then presented Komax Connect, a dashboard that transparently prepares and displays process data, and explicitly indicates optimization potential.

Short, snappy sessions with high practical relevance and professional exchange 

Participants from automotive sector and industry benefited greatly from the broad selection of topics. Ingenious processes for wire processing were presented, such as the automatic assembly of HV cables for e-mobility and automated tube marking, which significantly accelerates the construction of medium-voltage systems in particular. Other topics included the automation of control cabinet construction and the new digital services, from Komax Connect to the Komax Cloud MES (Manufacturing Execution System).
